Saying that it’s all in your head is NOT speaking figuratively.  The goal of studying is always mental clarity… aural clarity, physical clarity, visual clarity, kinesthetic clarity, intellectual clarity, emotional clarity. Mental clarity can only be achieved by mindful attention, not by mindless repetition.
